About Thalang National Museum

Opened on 14 March 1989 near the Two Heroines Monument, the Thalang National Museum tells Phuket’s story in four themes: the island and the early peoples of the Andaman, the Battle of Thalang, the Chinese and the development of Phuket, and the people of Phuket. It honours the two sisters, Thao Thep Krasattri and Thao Si Sunthon, who led the island’s defence (TAT). It opens from Wednesday to Sunday, 8am–4pm.

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Thalang National Museum before you go.
