About Chinpracha House

Built towards the end of King Rama IV’s reign, Chinpracha House on Krabi Road is widely believed to be the first Sino-Portuguese building in Phuket. Behind its ornate door with golden Chinese characters are coloured glass windows, an open courtyard with a small pond, imported Italian floor tiles, a carved wooden staircase and furnishings from China, brought in when Phuket lay on the trading route between Penang and Europe (TAT).

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Chinpracha House before you go.
