About Khao Phra Thaeo

Khao Phra Thaeo, about 20 kilometres from Phuket Town, protects 22 square kilometres of virgin forest, with giant buttressed trees and the rare white-backed palm. Ton Sai waterfall has the headquarters and a small restaurant; at Bang Pae waterfall, past the Two Heroines Monument, a nursery rehabilitates captured gibbons before returning them to the wild, and marked trails run through the forest (TAT).

Opening hours, prices and seasonal openings change, so please check with Khao Phra Thaeo before you go.
